#Accessories That Thrill Mikara // Week 13 Recap
It’s that wonderful time of the week – #AccessoriesThatThrill Mikara #thepersonalstylist. I think this week has been very exciting for me along with finding these wonderful gems. Lets get started …
As we gracefully approach the last quarter, a lot of events are happening. So my client asked me to find some glamorous dangling earrings to go with her dress she is wear for an event she is attending. She wasn’t a big earring -wearer so I knew I couldn’t go over board while searching for her. Checking out her dress, it was very simple but the silhouette was very beautiful for her figure, once I saw the full visual of her appearance I knew I wanted to look for sparkling earring that makes her look pop. I came across these gorgeous Purple amethyst burgundy tanzanite LONG Chandelier earrings that would look amazing on her complexion along with her dress; if she wasn’t satisfied with these, I had a second option that was only 2 tier but she ended up loving this earring from Eldor Tina Jewelry.

So, we have seen some interesting bowtie – wooden, metal, light up by some entertainers right? I was approached by my client that he wanted to have a distinctive bowtie but not too standoff-ish. I got the jiff of where he was going since I had styled him before. I scratched head for awhile on this one- why? Number one: I dont run into too many bowtie brands that grabs my attention like earring do. SO I knew I had to do some serious soul searching on this task. And I’m glad I get clients that challenge me to look for something new and this is why I have to share with you guys. TokotoHandM is the name of the brand that creates this bowtie; its handmade of thread soutache (pronounce so-tash) – this particular thread is used to trim garments with a narrow flat braid (ex Military Jacket). I love how this designer took his imagination to the neck level by creating a bowtie thats not too stand-offish

My client has really been on a mission of having a vegan look while pursuing her vegan lifestyle. And I def commend her for that. She was missing one thing in her outfit that was not vegan and that was … shoes. She wanted some “Girls Night Out” heels for her to put on with denim or so slacks, and what did I find for her ? “Vegan Nights Heels” by Free People who collaborated with Faryl Robin. This shoe was very necessary for her ; its vegan, its SUPER dope and they’re black – how can you go wrong with these? You can’t right?! I def didn’t think so and I didn’t with her satisfaction. I’m super happy I did met her needs by these since my options were Ultra slim but I still made it happen and I’m glad.
